Peter Obi Challenges Tinubu Over ₦15.8 Trillion Fuel Subsidy Savings and $100 Billion Borrowings

The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has challenged President Bola Tinubu to account for the ₦15.8 trillion reportedly saved from fuel subsidy removal and over $100 billion borrowed by his administration.

Obi also questioned the impact of increased government revenue and taxation on Nigerians, demanding explanations on poverty reduction, education, healthcare, electricity supply and national security.

He maintained that Nigerians deserve transparency, accountability and measurable results from the resources entrusted to the government.
