What can we do to make our Country better?

What can we do to make our Country better?

To make our country better and help people in our society live a better life, we need to come together as one to help the less privileged. Today our youths are facing different challenges in their way of life. Below are some ways we effectively contribute our own quota towards attaining our objective.

Mentor Young People

By sharing stories or simply listening, a good mentor may make a positive impact on people’s lives. Spend a few hours every week or month mentoring a younger person or your peers. One of the many benefits of mentoring is that it helps people create goals and develop their knowledge and confidence. It can be a game-changer for young people transitioning into adulthood and having trouble making crucial choices like where to work and when to start a family.

Encourage Improved Work

There are numerous ways to stand up for better work: join a movement for economic justice, advocate for equal pay for equal labour, vote, form a union, or become a member. For more than half of all workers worldwide, low-wage, subpar jobs are the norm. Despite their efforts, people are stuck in poverty rather than improving their quality of life. Overall, societies continue to be less productive and unequal than they could be.

Give Reasonable Salary And Tips.

The next time you pay someone to do a chore or tip them, you have an opportunity to take action for a better economy. Don’t cut corners; everyone should be paid a living wage. With 76% of the world’s wealth held by the richest 10% of people, wealth inequality has reached unprecedented heights. Two percent belongs to the bottom fifty percent. If you are not a billionaire, don’t panic; every little bit helps create economies that are more inclusive and equitable.

Buy From Employee-friendly Businesses

The majority of people work for both large and small businesses in the private sector. Good labour practices, such as paying men and women equally or offering sufficient paid leave, start with the employer. Consider the companies you do business with. Talk to employees if you can, or look for websites where workers evaluate their employers. Find out if companies have publicly pledged to uphold fair labour standards and followed through on that promise. Purchase products and services from companies that can treat you with respect.
