JUST IN: Tinubu Nominates Taiwo Oyedele As Minister Of State For Finance

President Bola Tinubu has nominated Taiwo Oyedele as the new Minister of State for Finance.

The announcement was made by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, who disclosed that Oyedele will replace Doris Uzoka-Anite in the role.

Oyedele previously served as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, where he led the team responsible for developing Nigeria’s new tax laws.

According to Onanuga, President Tinubu has formally transmitted Oyedele’s nomination to the Senate for confirmation in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
