The BSTE Foundation recognizes that economic empowerment is a critical aspect of justice. They address the unique challenges faced by minority groups of individuals in African economies. Marginalization and social exclusion often prevent these minority people from participating fully in society. The foundation sheds light on the heteronormative structures within labour laws and economies, advocating for more inclusive policies. Despite the impact of COVID-19 on African economies, the foundation remains steadfast in its mission. By supporting vulnerable groups in communities, they strive to alleviate poverty, improve livelihoods, and create pathways for economic autonomy.
